Testing Options
Wrat5
The Wrat5 is basic skills test that measures reading, spelling, and math. This test takes between 30-60 minutes depending on grade level. This test can be administered one on one or in a small group setting. The WRAT5 can effectively identify learning disabilities.
The iowa
The Iowa Statewide Assessment of Student Progress is also a basic skills test. It was developed for groups. It is a more detailed assessments for students starting in the 3rd - 12th grade. The test takes 3-4 hours and includes: reading, writing, math, science, and vocabulary for all ages. In addition, you can add spelling, capitalization, punctuation, computation, word analysis, and listening for elementary and middle schoolers.
I am available to come to your organization and give this assessment. This is a convenient way for all of your families to have their children tested. I offer a group rate to families that participate in group testing.
Portfolio Reviews
Testing or a Portfolio Evaluation is needed for every homeschool student who is not using the PEP Scholarship. A Portfolio Review is a stress-free way of showing me what you have accomplished in the last year with your child. I will send you a checklist ahead of time for your review. This takes around 45 minutes to 1 hour for each child.
